Triple pane windows are a step up from double glazed windows. Extremely durable, triple-glazed windows utilize three panes of glass to dramatically reduce condensation and thermal transfer while insulating as much as 60 per cent better than double-glazed windows. Double glazing windows consist of two panes of glass. Double pane windows can reduce up to 50% in heat loss. Less durable, lighter and lower in value. Learn more about our wide glazing selection.
Triple Glazed Windows
Conserving energy is a priority for you, and it is for us as well. We provide a variety of glass options that assist in increasing your home’s energy efficiency. Our triple glazed A rated windows offer the best heat retention properties and warmth of any of our frames, making them ideal for north-facing windows where there is little benefit from natural sunlight. By maximizing the sun’s rays, the extra glass panel helps to reflect heat back inside, making your home warmer and lowering heating bills. To maximize the sun’s energy, our triple glazing features two panes of Low E glass and one pane Sungate 600 glass. The invisible coating on the Low-E glass reflects heat back into your room, making it much warmer and cheaper to heat. This means that with triple glazed windows, you can increase the energy efficiency of your home by up to a third, compared with double glazing. If you want a home that’s both warm and energy efficient, our A rated triple glazed windows are the perfect choice. As well as keeping warmth in, they have the best acoustic performance and sound insulation properties: the extra glass panel in our triple glazed windows provides fantastic sound insulation so they’re ideal for homes where background noise is a problem. With our triple glazing installed your home will be warmer, benefit from less noise, and increased security, along with lower heating bills.
Double Glazed Windows
With over 30 years experience, we’re specialists in double glazed windows and as one of the market leaders, we’re also at the forefront of new glass and frame technology, developing windows which deliver advanced energy efficient properties. Whichever product you choose, you can be confident you’re installing some of the best double glazed windows available. Our double glazed windows will not only make your home feel cozier, they’ll also give it a facelift and transform the look of the property immediately. Each of our A rated standard double glazed windows feature two equal 5mm glass panes, separated by a 16mm cavity, which achieves excellent heat retention and delivers a high level of sound insulation. Our replacement windows are available in a choice of materials and styles and regardless of which product you choose, all of our frames are very energy efficient, surpassing the Building Regulations requirement. Most of our double glazing achieve an A rating as standard and A+ rated windows are also available, which means your home could actually gain more ‘free’ heat than it loses, resulting in much lower energy bills. If you are looking for A++ performance, our Triple glazed windows offer even higher levels of performance.
Glass technology at its best. Provides ultimate energy efficiency by combining a triple glazed unit with two pieces of high solar gain Low E and both cavities filled with inert gas, add warm edge spacer for the highest ER numbers.
ENERGLAS PLUS LSG
Provides ultimate comfort by combining a triple glazed unit with two pieces of low solar gain Low E and both cavities filled with inert gas and warm edge spacer for the lowest U values. ENERGLAS Double glazed unit combining high solar gain LoE, Argon gas and Ultra spacer for high ER numbers with a high solar gain.
Double glazed unit combining low solar gain Low E, Argon gas and Ultra spacer for the low U values with low solar gain.
Double glazed unit combining high solar gain Low E, Argon gas and Intercept Tin plate spacer for high ER numbers with a high solar gain.
Double glazed unit combining low solar gain Low E, Argon gas and Intercept Tin plate spacer for low U values with low solar gain.
E Value – Low-e coatings have been developed to minimize the amount of ultraviolet and infrared light that can pass through glass without compromising the amount of visible light that is transmitted.
U values – measures the rate of heat transfer and tells you how well the window insulates. The smaller the number, the better the window system is at reducing heat loss.
ER numbers – Energy Rating (ER) is a benchmark rating system adopted as part of the CSA A440.2 Standard of Canadian Building Code. ER represents a single modeled performance rating for a window, expressed in Watts per square meter (W/m2), based on standard window’s capacity to emit solar heat, its insulating capacity or R – Value, and its ability to resist air leakage. ER rating range from 0 to 50. A rating of 0 indicates neutral energy consumption, where a window contributes as much solar energy, while a window with a negative ER loses energy.
Solar gain – The amount of solar radiation that enters a building as heat. The lower the number, the better the glazing is at preventing solar heat gain.
Solarban 60 Solar Control Low-E Glass by PPG was engineered to control solar heat gain, which is essential to minimizing cooling costs. In a standard one-inch insulating glass unit, Solarban 60 glass offers an exterior appearance similar to clear, uncoated glass. With an excellent Solar Heat Gain Coefficient (SHGC) of 0.38, Solarban 60 glass blocks 62% of the total solar energy while allowing 70% of the visible light to pass through. This produces an exceptional Light to Solar Gain (LSG) ratio of 1.85, along with excellent insulation performance, as evidenced by its 0.29 winter nighttime U-Value.
Sungate 600 Low-E glass uses new coatings and tints to help retain indoor temperatures year-round. Using Sungate 600, you can combine technologies creating super smart windows. For extreme cold temperatures, the coating for Sungate 600 glass can be used on the No. 3 surface of an insulating glass unit, functioning as a traditional high-performing, passive, low-e glass. Smart technology, smart windows.
Sungate 600 Low-E Glass provides maximum processing flexibility and can be easily laminated, tempered or heat-strengthened to satisfy increased strength or safety glazing requirements. As a pyrolytic or “hard coat,” Sungate 600 glass is durable and readily available from nearly 100 glass fabrication locations throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Options & Accessories: Our Hardware from Truth Hardware give you all the strength and performance with the flexibility of a snap-fit cover and streamlined full-flip folding handle that eliminates collapse during operation. Encore Operators require 33% less effort to operate than previous operators and are designed to use the same mounting location as the Maxim system. Stainless steel components are available for coastal applications. These operators complement the Encore Multi-Point Locking System.
Differentiate your window line by taking advantage of Encore’s unique cover and handle designs. Encore’s full-flip folding handle recesses in the operator cover–giving windows a smooth, contemporary look–and eliminating interference with curtains and blinds. The snap-fit cover removes easily for painting and staining of window frame.
The Encore System
Designed as an integrated system, Encore operators and locks provide unmatched elegance and performance. With a time-proven design, Encore products stand out in beauty while enhancing the window’s overall appearance. Innovative operators are distinctive in appearance, performance and user-friendliness. Known for their full-flip folding handle and ease of operation, Encore operators fit a wider range of profiles (fiberglass, aluminum, steel) and both wood and PVC window types. Encore operators incorporate all of the same strength and performance characteristics of Maxim operators.
Designed to work in tandem with Encore operators, Encore Multi-Point Locks provide a complete locking system for casement and awning windows including round tops. A construction handle allows operation prior to finishing. Encore locks have fewer parts, hold 400 lbs. per lock point and are more resistant to insect and light infiltration. Providing years of trouble-free operation, Encore locks bring innovation to a new level.
